The International Cooperation Scheme helps MSMEs explore global markets through international exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, buyer-seller meets and export-related support.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicable to:
  • State Government / Central Government organisations
  • Industry / Enterprise Associations
  • Registered societies, trusts, and organisations
  • Core Requirement:
  • Must be involved in the promotion and development of MSMEs
  • Key Condition:
  • Not applicable to individual MSMEs directly
  • Applications must be submitted through recognised institutions/associations

 Benefits

  • International Exposure & Collaboration:
  • Up to 95% financial assistance for: Airfare, Exhibition space rent
  • Delegation & Participation Support:
  • Funding for: MSME business delegations abroad, Participation in international trade fairs (India & overseas), Buyer-seller meets with global participation
  • Additional Cost Coverage:
  • Freight and insurance
  • Local transport
  • Secretarial and communication services
  • Printing of catalogues and promotional materials
  • Note:
  • Assistance varies based on: Nature of activity, Size of enterprise/group

 How to Apply

  • Apply through: MSME Ministry portal, or submit application in prescribed format to Director (International Cooperation), Ministry of MSME, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi – 110011
  • Prepare detailed proposal (event/activity-based)
  • Submit application through institutional channel
  • Proposal evaluation by competent authority
  • Approval granted based on relevance and impact
  • Important:
  • Applications must follow formal institutional process
  • Direct individual applications are not accepted

Documents Required

  • Pre-Event Documents:
  • Registration certificate of applicant organisation
  • Memorandum & Articles of Association
  • Audited financial statements (last 3 years)
  • Detailed Project Report (DPR) with budget and objectives
  • Event details (name, duration, venue)
  • List of participating delegates
  • Post-Event / Reimbursement Documents:
  • Event report with photos and supporting materials
  • Udyam Registration Certificates of participating MSMEs
  • Proof of payments (invoices, receipts)
  • Travel proof (boarding passes, tickets)
  • Declaration of non-availment of other government assistance
