SFURTI supports traditional industries and artisans by developing clusters, improving skills and technology, and strengthening product quality, market access and sustainable employment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicable to traditional industries and artisan groups
- Covers clusters such as: Handicrafts, Khadi, Coir
- Eligible Entities: NGOs, Institutions, Producer groups / cluster-based organisations
- Must be part of a cluster-based development approach

- Assistance for: Cluster development, Infrastructure and common facilities, Tools and equipment, Skill development and training, Marketing and promotion, Raw material support
- Up to 90% assistance for hard interventions – Up to 95% in special category regions
- Up to 100% assistance for soft interventions

How to Apply
- Apply through: Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) or Designated Implementing Agencies
- Identify cluster and implementing agency
- Prepare cluster development proposal
- Submit proposal to implementing authority
- Proposal evaluation and approval by scheme authorities
- Implementation begins after approval
