Payment reminders help you recover pending amounts faster by sending friendly alerts through SMS, WhatsApp, or scheduled reminders. Have a look at how it works:

Step 1: Open Parties Section
Open the Vyapar app and go to the Parties section. This is where you’ll find all customers listed along with their payment status.

Step 2: Select a Party With Pending Payment
Choose any party whose payment is due. Their full details and transaction history will appear, along with three reminder options at the top.

Step 3: Send SMS Reminder
Click the SMS icon to send an SMS reminder.
If their phone number isn’t saved, add it once and resend.
If the number has WhatsApp, the reminder will automatically go as a WhatsApp message; otherwise, they will receive an SMS.

Step 4: Send a WhatsApp Reminder From Your Account
Click the WhatsApp icon if you want to send the reminder directly from your own WhatsApp account.
Log in when prompted, and the reminder will be sent instantly to the party.

Step 5: Schedule a Reminder for a Future Date
Use the Set Reminder option to choose a date on which the party should automatically receive a reminder.
You can also set the same reminder for yourself if needed.

Step 6: Customise the Reminder Message
Go to Settings → Party Settings to edit the default payment reminder message.
You can adjust the tone or wording to match your business style.

By using SMS, WhatsApp, and scheduled reminders, you can easily follow up on outstanding payments and keep collections smooth and timely.
