How to Manage Inventory

Watch how to easily manage products and keep stock updated in Vyapar.

This tutorial will guide you on how to add products, set pricing, and manage stock in the Vyapar App.

Step 1: Open Vyapar App
Open the Vyapar App on your phone or computer. It is simple and user-friendly.

Step 2: Go to Settings
Tap Settings → Item Settings.
Turn ON only what you need:
Units (box, bottle, piece)
Item Category (General, Electronics, Grocery)
Discounts
Serial Number or Batch Tracking

Step 3: Add a New Item
Go to Items and click Add Product to add a new product in the Vyapar App.
Fill details:
Item Name
Category
Item Code
Unit (Example: 1 box = 12 bottles)

Step 4: Enter Pricing
Add Sale Price (tax included or excluded).
Add Purchase Price.
Set Discount (amount or percentage).

Step 5: Add Stock Details
Add Batch info (MRP, Batch No., Expiry Date, Quantity) OR
Add Serial Numbers.
Enter Opening Stock.
Set Minimum Stock Alert.
Add Location (rack, box, shelf).

Step 6: Add Images
Upload up to 5 product images.
This is also useful when you create your online store in Vyapar.

Step 7: Save the Item
Click Save. Your product will appear in the list of items.
You can edit or update it at any time.

If you already have products in Excel, go to Utilities → Import Items.
Upload the file, and all items will be added in bulk.

Now you can easily manage billing, stock, and inventory in the Vyapar App.
